Growth Drivers:

India is among the top 10 aviation markets, serving over 84 mn domestic passengers annually. The size of air traffic, both in terms of passengers & goods, is growing at a good stride. According to the International Air Transport Association, India is expected to be the third-largest aviation market in the world by 2025, after China and the U.S. Rising proportion of middle-income families, strong competition amongst Low-Cost Carriers, infrastructure additions at leading airports and supportive policy framework has given a positive thrust to the aviation sector which is expected to continue to experience strong growth due to the upsurge in demand.
